Techniques to experience lightness of the body in Asana practice

There are limited seats for the in-person option available on a first-come first-served basis. A minimum of 8 people is required for the workshop to take place.

In Ayurveda, it is said that the best state of health is when you forget you have a body. Similarly, in a traditional hatha yoga practice, a feeling of lightness is obtained using certain yogic techniques, so-much-so, that one can feel unfettered by the body. This state is attained throught the use of bandhas and the ujjayi breath to channel the flow of prana. In this workshop, we will practice some asanas from the Ashtanga Vinyasa primary series to illustrate these concepts.

This workshop is suitable for all levels of yoga asana practitioners

Cost : $20 for the 2-hour workshop If you are from a different country than the USA, please just pay what you would nominally pay for a yoga class in your country and send me a note.
